Step 1: Background Check
The eye exam starts with an exploration of your personal and family eye history, particularly past conditions or surgeries affecting your current vision.
We also review your daily activities, especially how your eyes are affected at work or during hobbies. This helps us to evaluate potential sources of strain or fatigue.
By gathering comprehensive background information, we aim to address and resolve individual vision problems effectively and efficiently.
Step 2: Understanding Your Prescription
We employ Carl Zeiss technology for precise prescription assessments, focusing on distant and nighttime conditions. This method also detects high aberrations causing glare, which standard eyesight tests frequently miss.
Step 3: Vision Test
Next, we evaluate various aspects of your visual acuity. This step involves checking distant and near vision and identifying any misalignment or asthenopia, the latter referring to eye fatigue you may experience after prolonged use.
We also assess for strabismus or any other issues that could contribute to frequent headaches. By understanding these facets of your eye functionality, we can better tailor solutions for your everyday comfort and clarity.
Step 4: Sample Prescriptions
Following the technical assessments, we proceed with a more practical approach. Here, we introduce the trial lens method, where we place sample prescriptions in a testing frame for you.
You’re encouraged to walk around, experiencing first-hand the impact of these corrective measures. This step is crucial for real-world testing, ensuring the prescribed lenses meet your lifestyle needs. Based on your feedback, we’ll make necessary adjustments to enhance visual acuity and comfort.

Step 6: Frame Fitting
If you wish to buy a frame from our store, we’ll cement your prescription details and assist you with the fitting. Our optometrists tailor the frames to your face for maximum comfort and style.
We utilize a lens fitting machine to pinpoint the frame’s optical center. This ensures your lenses are perfectly aligned with your eyes, providing clarity and a custom fit for your vision needs.
